Hrothgar Mathews

HROTHGAR MATHEWS was born in Edmonton, grew up in Ottawa, and lived in Montreal and Toronto before settling in Vancouver about twelve years ago.

Sgt. Charlie Klotchko is the fourth character Hrothgar has played in the Da Vinci world. Previously he played a guilty grieving father in the very first episode, "Little Sister". He then portrayed a delusional schizophrenic in episode 22, "The Looking Glass", and a very, very confused logger in episode 45, "Birds Have Been at Her" for which he received a Leo Award nomination.

Some of his favorite credits include Nuremberg, The Investigations, Scorn, The Wild Guys, Tom Stone, Cold Squad, The X-Files (four different characters as well), The Core, and Human Cargo for which he was nominated for both a Leo and a Gemini Award, Death's Dream, for which he won a Leo and finally Milgaard, for which he won a Gemini Award.
