Charles Martin Smith

CHARLES MARTIN SMITH is best known as an actor, starring in the seminal American Graffiti, which launched an array of careers. He went on to star in such movies as Never Cry Wolf, Starman, and the blockbuster The Untouchables with Kevin Costner, Sean Connery and Robert DeNiro. Martin Smith has a recurring role on Da Vinci's City Hall as Friedland, an advocate for the homeless. An accomplished director, his most recent feature is the Farley Mowat adaptation The Snow Walker. Other films include the Golden Reel-winning Air Bud for Disney, Boris and Natasha, and Trick or Treat. His television credits include directing episodes of Da Vinci's Inquest, the MOW Icon, and the very first episode of the cult sensation Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
