HIRO KANAGAWA's television credits include recurring and guest-starring appearances on The X-Files, Millennium, The Outer Limits, Cold Squad, Smallville, Andromeda, and The 4400. His feature film work includes notable roles in projects ranging from the indie hit Protection, to wide releases such as Best in Show and Elektra. No stranger to animation, he has voiced a wide variety of cartoon characters such as the Foolish Magistrate on Sagwa: The Chinese Siamese Cat and Gihren Zabi on Mobile Suit Gundam. He is currently working on a major super hero in an upcoming series for Marvel Comics.

Kanagawa's theater work has taken him across Canada and earned him a 1997 Jessie Richardson Theatre Award and a 2000 Betty Mitchell Award nomination. As a writer, he is best known for his play, Tiger of Malaya, which premiered at the National Arts Centre, Ottawa, and Factory Theatre, Toronto, in the fall of 2003. He was the playwright-in-residence with Vancouver's Rumble Productions for 2006-2007.

Kanagawa was a story intern in the final season of Da Vinci's Inquest and played Dr. Okada in Season IV before taking on the dual roles of story editor and Fire Captain Roy Komori for the inaugural season of Da Vinci's City Hall.
