KIM HAWTHORNE stars as Detective Rose Williams, the ambitious robbery detective who was promoted to Homicide, where she partners with veteran detective Leo Shannon (Donnelly Rhodes). In 2002, Hawthorne was nominated for a Leo Award for her work on Da Vinci's Inquest.

Hawthorne's many credits include starring in Cy Coleman's Broadway musical The Life, and recurring roles on the TV series Lucky Louie, Commander in Chief, Jeremiah, Breaking News, Dark Angel, Beggars and Choosers, All My Children and Another World. She has guest starred in shows such as The L Word, The Twilight Zone, Just Cause, Stargate SG-1, Mysterious Ways, First Wave, The Outer Limits and Nightman, and also appeared on I'll Fly Away, In the Heat of the Night and Cosby. Hawthorne has also been seen in the features See Spot Run, Along Came a Spider, 3000 Miles to Graceland, and The Chronicles of Riddick. In addition to acting, Hawthorne also co-directed the critically acclaimed Vancouver stage production of Laurence Fishburne's Riff Raff.
