Sarah Strange

SARAH STRANGE plays Helen, Assistant to the Coroners Office and Da Vinci's eyes and ears in the department. Born and raised in Vancouver, the Gemini Award-winning Strange fell into acting right out of high school, but the television business was part of her life from earliest days; her writer parents created the long-running Canadian series The Beachcombers.

Strange played Carol in a regular starring role on the award-winning dramatic series Madison, and over the course of the show's six-year run was nominated for three Gemini Awards, three years in a row, for Best Actress. In 1996 she won a Best Actress Leo Award for the same character. In 2000, Strange was nominated for two Leo Awards, one for her work on Da Vinci's Inquest, and the second she won for her performance in the short drama Second Date. Strange co-starred in the independent feature Kitchen Party. She guest starred on the television series First Wave, Poltergeist, Outer Limits, and Neon Rider, which earned her a 1995 Gemini Award for Best Actress in a Guest-Starring Role. She played two different characters in Ken Finkleman's Foolish Heart. Her other credits include The L Word, The Chris Isaak Show, The X-Files, Sliders, Hollywood Off-Ramp, and several television movies including Unexpected Father, The Piano Man's Daughter, Ladies and the Champ, and Unexpected Family.
