MARY WALSH, the winner of numerous Gemini awards for her work on CBC's wildly popular take on current affairs, This Hour Has 22 Minutes, Mary Walsh Open Book and for her series Hatching Matching and Dispatching, has revealed her hilarious Newfoundland bent on politics and current affairs to comedy fans since the award-winning CODCO troupe hit the stage 20 years ago.

Walsh has also starred in the highly-rated television mini-series Random Passage, and the Showtime film feature Bleacher Bums co-starring Wayne Knight and Maury Chaykin. Her talent can be seen outside the realm of television with feature film credits such as Mambo Italiano, Violet, The Divine Ryans with Pete Postlethwaite, and New Waterford Girl with Nicholas Campbell which made its American debut at the Sundance Film Festival. Walsh appeared in the feature Extraordinary Visitor with Andy Jones, co-starred with Michael Moriarty in the award-winning TV mini-series Major Crime, and with Jane Curtin in Geraldine's Fortune. She co-wrote the popular children's film Bailey's Billions, and recently co-starred with Matt Lucas (Little Britain) in The Wind in the Willows for the BBC. Walsh made her directorial debut with her feature film Young Triffie's Been Made Away With, which was released to Canadian audiences this year.
