Born and raised in Montreal, BRUCE RAMSAY is a veteran performer with over 60 credits in film, television and stage, including lead roles in major motion pictures such as Alive, Killing Zoe and The New Age. He has worked with renowned directors such as Steven Soderbergh, Frank Marshall, Roger Avary and Steven Shainberg. In 2006 Ramsay received an ACTRA Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of a Hungarian child trafficker in the film Baby For Sale.

He is also a published poet and author of the play, Instrument of Truth, performed at the Summer Works Festival at the 3rd Street Theater in Los Angeles.

On other writing fronts, Ramsay was head writer for the Montreal based comedy team The Fish People, and guest author at the The Cabaret Voltaire, a monthly workshop presented at the Steve Allen Theater in Hollywood. Ramsay's latest screenplay The Shivers will be produced by Ufland Productions (The Last Temptation of Christ, Night and the City) with principal photography beginning in the fall. He currently divides his time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
