Laszlo Barna is CEO, President, and the force behind Barna-Alper Productions. He initiates the strategic direction of the company providing both strong creative vision and keen business acumen. As Executive Producer on all company projects, his sense of social commentary and commitment to excellence have made each project bearing the Barna-Alper logo both outstanding and unique.
Laslzo began Barna-Alper with his partner, Laura Alper, in 1980 and has produced and directed hundreds of hours of internationally acclaimed and award-winning dramatic series, documentary series, and movies for television including Blue Murder, The Sexual Century, Turning Points of History, Offspring, The Last Just Man, Hard Times: The David Milgaard Story, At the End of the Day: The Sue Rodriguez Story, Scorn, Betrayed

. Laszlo is an ardent leader and advocate in the Canadian television production industry, and is a past Chair of the Board of Canadian Film and Television Producers Association, and past board member of the Canadian Television Fund.
