Stuart Margolin is perhaps best known to TV audiences for his portrayal of Angel on The Rockford Files opposite James Garner, but Stuart has an impressive and long list of credits for acting, directing, producing, writing, and composing. As an actor, his many television series include Bret Maverick, Mom P.I. (where he met Da Vinci creator Chris Haddock), Beggars and Choosers, and These Arms of Mine. He has also guest starred in a number of classic television series. His feature films include The Hi-Line, Guilty by Suspicion, Bye Bye Blues, SOB, Days of Heaven, Futureworld, Deathwish, and Kelly's Heroes.

As a director, Stuart's credits include the features Medicine River and Saltwater Moose; numerous MOWs, including Vendetta: Secrets of a Mafia Bride, The Glitter Dome, and How the West was Fun; two Rockford Files movies; and a remarkable list of episodic television including The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Northern Exposure, and Tom Stone. Margolin directed "Mr. Ellis Himself Would Been Proud" Season VII of Da Vinci's Inquest, "Gonna Cause a Ruckus" for Da Vinci's City Hall, and recently "Cleaning Up" for the series Intelligence, where he also guest stars as ex-CIA agent Flannegan.
